Leave animals in peace

If you spot a wild animal, don’t approach it. Wild animals can be aggressive and may attack you if they’re hurt, alarmed, or protecting their young.

Never leave food in your tent or around your campsite. Put it up in a tree, and bury any leftovers as deep as possible.

Be especially careful near snakes.

Wild animals should eat only the food they find in nature. If you give them foods intended for humans, you may make them ill or stop them from looking for food naturally.
