Collect and recycle waste paper

Every day, around 700,000 tonnes of paper are produced in the world, and around 10 percent of it is dumped. This paper waste could be reused rather than simply being thrown away.

The recycling of paper waste is a simple and accessible way to help preserve forests and protect the environment.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Discuss the possibility of placing empty boxes in your classroom for the separate collection of paper, plastic and organic waste.
  • Once your containers are full, they can be taken for recycling. Ask the school administration to help you.
